UNMC is currently taking part in the 2014 United Way Campaign. Each week during the campaign, we will feature a member of the UNMC community who is a United Way supporter.
Today, we meet Melissa Dorr of the School of Allied Health Professions, the first division to achieve 100 percent participation! This is the third year in a row the School of Allied Health Professions has reached 100 percent participation.

As of 3 p.m. Tuesday, UNMC achieved:
- Donations of $147,026, more than 98 percent of the campaign goal of $150,000.
- Employee participation of 45 percent. This year’s employee participation goal is 50 percent. Remember, using the UNMC eServ website to choose not to donate counts as participation!
I support the United Way because:
I am a supporter of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. These are three areas the YMCA, one of the United Way’s community partners, focuses on. I support the YMCA’s overall mission and am an active member of my local YMCA.
