Join the medical center’s Light The Night Walk team on Thursday, Sept. 18 to honor blood cancer survivors and those lost to the diseases.
A fundraising campaign of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), the event shines a light on the importance of finding cures and providing access to treatments for blood cancer patients.
The Omaha Metro Walk will be held this Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Werner Park, 12356 Ballpark Way in Papillion (just north of Highway 370 in Sarpy County).
Funds raised through the Light The Night Walk:
- Support breakthrough therapies for blood cancer patients.
- Provide free educational materials, support programs and events.
- Power advocacy to ensure access to treatments.
- Help provide personalized assistance through the organization’s Information Resource Center.
