What sparked your interest in nano-biotechnology in orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation?
I believe nowadays novelty happens on the conjunction of scientific fields. Regarding my background in mechanical engineering and interest in biology, I found the field of orthopedics to match my expertise and desire. I can use my mechanic background and my biology knowledge being earned during my Ph.D. program to make innovations in combination of these two areas.
