The Nebraska Medical Center is one of the participating sponsors of the American Parkinson Disease Association’s Parkinson’s Walk, to be held Sunday, Sept. 7, at Miller’s Landing.
Registration will begin at noon and the walk will start at 1 p.m. at Miller’s Landing Park on the Riverfront, at 151 Freedom Park Road.
The walk is part of APDA’s national fundraising effort supporting scientific research to find a cure for Parkinson’s disease and Information & Referral Center network. Everyone can join in as participants, supporters, sponsors, volunteers and contributors. The walk is for participants of all ages. There will be entertainment, information tables and presentations, a light lunch will also be served.
