Clinical Division Highlights:

Ishfaq Bhat, M.D.

  • Ishfaq Bhat, M.D., assistant professor.  Dr. Bhat is trained in both hepatology and gastroenterology and will join our division as a faculty member on July 1.  He will focus on general GI in both endoscopy and clinic at the Village Pointe location.

Alex Hewlett, D.O.

  • Created the state’s first fecal transplantation program requiring intense partnership with infectious diseases, pathology and microbiology and gastroenterology colleagues. Developing protocols for the success of this new program.
