Businesses invited to learn about health care reform during June 23 panel discussion

Area businesses are invited to attend, “Health Care Reform is Here – Now What?” on Wednesday, June 23, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Clarkson Tower, 42^nd St. and Dewey Ave., in the Lower Storz Pavilion.

The free presentation, sponsored by the Midtown Business Association, will provide an overview and interactive discussion about the Health Care Reform Act and what it means to businesses. Topics will include key dates and actions; impact to employers and employees; what must be done now; and preparations for the future.

Presenters include: Michael Demman, CEO of SimplyWell LLC; Ann Quaintance, Grace/Mayer Insurance Agency, Inc.; Matt Payne of Pansing Hogan Ernst & Bachman LLP; and Mark Bowen, director of government relations, University of Nebraska Medical Center.
