UNMC College of Nursing, Northeast Community College invites those interested in nursing degrees to attend informational sessions Sept. 7, 8 in Norfolk

The University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing and Northeast Community College invite anyone interested in pursuing degrees in nursing to attend an informational session Sunday, Sept. 7, from 5 to 7 p.m., or Monday, Sept. 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
 
The sessions will provide information about associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in nursing and will be held at the Faith Regional Health Services, West Campus, Norfolk Room, 2700 W. Norfolk Ave..
 
Sunday, Sept. 7
5 to 6 p.m. — Information on associate’s or bachelor degrees in nursing and accelerated bachelor’s degree
6 to 7 p.m. — Information on master’s, post-master’s, fast-track and traditional doctoral programs. Anyone interested in teaching at the UNMC College of Nursing or Northeast Community College is welcome to attend immediately after this session.
 
Monday, Sept. 8
11 a.m. to Noon — Information on associate’s or bachelor’s degrees in nursing and accelerated bachelor’s degree
Noon to 1 p.m. — Information on master’s, post-master’s, fast-track and traditional doctoral programs. Anyone interested in teaching at the UNMC College of Nursing or Northeast Community College is welcome to attend immediately after this session.
 
Representing UNMC will be Dani Eveloff, recruitment coordinator, UNMC College of Nursing, and Larry Hewitt, UNMC College of Nursing director of student services. Ann Oertwich, Northeast Community College director of nursing, will represent Northeast Community College. Hewitt also will be available for anyone interested in bringing a college and/or nursing transcript for evaluation of potential interest in applying to a program.
