UNMC Rural Health Education Network invites Nebraska secondary science teachers to annual Teacher Connections Workshop Oct. 28

The University of Nebraska Medical Center Rural Health Education Network (RHEN) invites Nebraska secondary science teachers to its 8th Annual Teacher Connections Workshop Thursday, Oct. 28, from 8:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. at UNMC in Omaha. The workshop is being held in conjunction with the Nebraska Association of Teachers of Science fall conference.

Participation in the workshop is limited to 20 rural secondary science teachers. The event will provide an opportunity for teachers to spend a day with UNMC scientists and researchers to learn about recent advances in science. Teachers will also have the opportunity to share health-related classroom experiences. Tours of the UNMC campus are available before the workshop begins.

Teachers who participate in the RHEN workshop will receive a free one night double occupancy lodging Oct. 27 in Omaha.
