UNMC invites nurses to attend April 28 session in North Platte to learn about pursuing bachelor’s, master’s degrees in nursing

The University of Nebraska Medical Center invites nurses interested in earning bachelors or masters degrees in nursing to attend informational sessions in North Platte, Wednesday, April 28. Attendees also will learn about ways to earn a degree with greater flexibility through Internet-based and other distance education. Informational sessions will be held at the below times and locations.

April 28  Great Plains Regional Medical Center, Cheyenne Room, W. Leota St.

4 to 5 p.m. Registered nurse to bachelors or masters degree in nursing
5 to 6 p.m. Masters degree in nursing

Non-nursing courses taken to pursue a bachelor’s degree can be earned at any accredited colleges and will apply toward a degree through. Some of UNMC’s nursing courses are accessible through the Internet, which offers students the flexibility of learning at home according to their schedule.
