UNMC invites nurses to attend April 29 session in Grand Island to learn about pursuing bachelor’s, master’s degrees in nursing

The University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing invites

nurses interested in pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degrees in nursing

to attend informational sessions. Attendees also will learn about ways

to earn a degree with greater flexibility through Internet-based and other

distance education. Sessions will be held at the below times and locations.

Thursday, April 29

St. Francis Hospital, Grand Island, OBrien II room

5 to 6 p.m. Registered nurse to bachelors or masters degree in nursing

6 to 7 p.m. Masters degree in nursing

Dani Eveloff, recruiting coordinator for the UNMC College of Nursing,

will be available to answer questions.

Non-nursing courses taken to pursue a bachelor’s degree can be earned

at any accredited colleges and will apply toward a degree through UNMC.

Some of UNMC’s nursing courses are accessible through the Internet, which

offers students the flexibility of learning at home according to their

schedule.
