The University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, located
in Lincoln, invites the public to its free, annual opening of its Dental
Museum, Oct. 7-12, during which the museum puts its entire collection on
display. The museum has one of the largest regional collections of historical
dental equipment and artifacts dating from the 1850s.
Also on display will be a collection of tooth extraction instruments
dating from the 1500s.
The collection will be displayed at the UNMC College of Dentistry, located
at 40th & Holdrege Streets on the East Campus of the University of
Nebraska-Lincoln.
Free parking is available on the east side of the building.
The museum will be open during the following dates and times:
Oct. 7 — 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Oct. 8 — 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Oct. 9 — 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Oct. 10 — 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Oct. 11 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Oct. 12 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
