UNMC Public Relations is announcing new preferred vendors for graphic design, photography and, for the first time, videography. The selections were made after a Request for Proposal (RFP) was sent to area vendors.
The preferred vendors will be used for all design, photography and videography projects that cannot be done in-house through UNMC Printing Services and UNMC Public Relations. The establishment of preferred vendors improves business and cost efficiencies and ensures that the branding of UNMC is consistent and accurate. The breadth and scope of vendors is intended to meet the various needs of the campus.
The preferred vendors for graphic design are, in alphabetical order:
- Daake
- David Day & Associates
- The New BLK
- Oxide
- Webster
Preferred vendors for photography are, in alphabetical order:
- Scott Dobry
- Brandon McKenna
- Philip Nealy
- Snitily Carr (Lincoln)
Preferred vendors for videography are, in alphabetical order: (Projects related to recordings of academic instruction are exempt.)
- Bozell
- Scott Dobry
- Envoy
- The New BLK
- Three Pillars Media (Lincoln)
For graphic design and printing needs, campus departments initially should consult with UNMC Printing Services and, if the work cannot be done in-house, use one of the preferred vendors. For photography/videography needs, departments may consult with UNMC Public Relations and complete an online request form. If the work cannot be done in-house, departments will be directed to one of the preferred vendors. PR also can assist units in finding an appropriate vendor for their needs and budget.
Selected by campus committees, the preferred vendors were chosen based on expertise, creativity/design work, cost, customer service and professionalism. UNMC issued its first request for proposals for preferred vendors (photography and graphic design only) after the brand launch in 2009.
