“Straight Talk About the Heart,” an educational event to benefit the American Heart Association, will be held on April 26 in the lower Storz Pavilion in Clarkson Tower. Baxter Bell, M.D., will be speaking on “How Modern Yoga Can Help Our Patients: The Studies, the Theory and the Practices,” at noon on May 2 at the Sorrell Center, Room 4053. Dr. Bell is a physician, medical acupuncturist and a Yoga Alliance certified educator. Dr. Bell is passionate about sharing the emerging benefits of yoga for a wide variety of health conditions, including heart disease, diabetes and other chronic diseases.
