UNMC employees and students are invited to the preview night of “Ella” at the Omaha Community Playhouse on Feb. 27 for just $5 per ticket. There are only a limited number of tickets available.
When: Feb. 27. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and is open seating.
Where to get the tickets: There are a limited number of $5 tickets available to UNMC employees and students. Email Anna Kirshenbaum to reserve your tickets. There is a two-tickets-per-person limit. Only cash will be accepted; tickets may be picked up at the public relations department.
About the show: “Ella” is the powerhouse story and musical revue of iconic jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald. As this legend prepares for her most challenging performance, she recalls her life’s tribulations and how she found solace in music. Ella’s renowned voice transports audiences to another time with classics such as “A-Tisket, A-Tasket,” “They Can’t Take That Away From Me,” “Cheek to Cheek” and “Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off.” This moving and dazzling revue will astound and delight audiences.
