Tell us a bit about what you do here at UNMC.

I am an administrative projects associate in the UNMC Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery. I work with others in my department on various projects. I started this position in November and was a clerk-tech in the department before that. Since I started this new position, I have been working on projects such as our department’s website, providing support to physicians for courses throughout the year and working with the telehealth department on other projects. I also am the administrative assistant to several different providers in the department. I must say I do love my job so far.

Our department might be the definition of working together. Whoever has a large project going on, everyone steps in and helps any way they can. Everyone is truly a team, and it makes working here a great experience.

What is your favorite winter activity?
Snowboarding! I only started a few years ago but it is definitely my new favorite winter activity.

List three things people may not know about you.

• I danced for 13 years.
• I am working on my master’s degree at the College of Public Health.
• My family owns a small distillery in Arlington, Neb.
