The fifth annual WalkRite for RiteCare will be held this Sunday, Sept. 22, at the Zorinsky Lake Picnic Pavillion. Registration for the walk begins at 9:30 a.m. with the walk beginning at 10:30 a.m.
The family-friendly walk supports UNMC’s Munroe-Meyer Institute’s RiteCare Speech and Language Clinic. Last year, WalkRite for RiteCare walkers raised $14,383 for the RiteCare Clinic through the Scottish Rite Foundation of Omaha.
There is no registration fee to walk, but there are incentives for those who raise $100 or more, including a WalkRite for RiteCare T-shirt. For more information, go to the event’s website.
