- Maintained a Student Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) in which approximately 20 students had a summer research experience with both laboratory and clinical outcomes principal investigators (PIs).

- Certification of the Midtown Resident Continuity Clinic as a Patient-Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).

- Developed a comprehensive TeleHealth-based program for diabetes care in the Hastings, Neb., area.
