The UNMC Internal Medicine Clinic is now offering physical exam services to support Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) commercial driver medical requirements.
A package price of $75 includes all forms and certificate documenting blood pressure, vision and hearing screening, basic required lab testing, health history review and the physical examination documentation required for commercial driver medical certification to be compliant with new FMCSA requirements to fulfill required DOT regulations.
The exam services are open to UNMC employees, students and their families, as well as the general public. You are not required to be a current patient at the clinic to schedule an exam.
Call (402) 559-4015 to schedule your DOT medical certification exam with a FMCSA-qualified, certified and registered examiner. The Internal Medicine Clinic is on the fifth floor of the Durham Outpatient Center.
This is a great service to our over the road truck drivers, they were offered in the first clinic I worked.
