Wellness Wednesday: Free youth CPR training April 28

The UNMC Youth Learning Center will hold a free class on cardiopulmonary resuscitation training (CPR) on Sunday, April 28. The class is open to youths between the ages of 11 and 18.

The Teen Learn to Save a Life Day will be one hour in length and will teach skills on how to recognize and respond to life threatening emergencies.

The class, which will be held on the UNMC campus, is available during the following times:

  • 9 to 10 a.m.
  • 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
  • 1 to 2 p.m.
  • 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Organizers ask registrants to bring non-perishable food items, which will be donated to the Omaha Food Bank.
