Capstone project presentations today

Faculty and staff are invited to attend the Capstone Project Presentations presented by senior medical students in the Enhanced Medical Education Tracks.

The poster presentations will be held in the Linder Reading Room on the second floor of Sorrell Center from 2 to 4 p.m. today.

Eleven students will be presenting on topics such as:

  • Aging and Integrated Medicine
  • Comprehensive HIV Medicine
  • Medical Humanities and Arts
  • Preventive Medicine
  • Underserved Medicine

The Enhanced Medical Education Tracks program offers medical students an opportunity to perform in-depth study of an interdisciplinary field of medicine that enhances the required curriculum without extending the time needed to graduate from medical school. Students apply in the second semester of their first year and participate in the track seminars, preceptorships or research throughout the M1, M2 and M3 years. The track culminates in a capstone project in their senior year.
