Title: Research scientist at the Gretchen Swanson Center for Nutrition
Interests: Childhood obesity, food insecurity and local foods systems. He also is interested in the use of technology to facilitate behavior change related to dietary behavior and physical activity among Hispanics/Latinos and members of lower income communities.
Degrees: Ph.D. in Behavioral Psychology, University of Kansas; Master of Public Health, University of Kansas Medical Center.
Memberships: American Public Health Association, the Society for Community Research and Action (American Psychological Association, Division 27), and the American Evaluation Association.
