The Nebraska Science Festival is seeking applications to exhibit engaging, interactive learning activities for school-aged children during its Expo on April 12-13.
The free Expo, to be held at the Durham Museum, will feature an array of hands-on science-related booths for elementary-aged youths. The Expo is part of the inaugural Nebraska Science Festival that will be held at a variety of sites in and around Omaha.
There is no charge for the booth, but those who staff the booths must provide their own materials. Expo organizers are looking for activities or demonstrations that showcase science in a unique, dramatic or unusual manner.
Application proposals, which are subject to approval by the festival advisory committee should be submitted online at http://www.nescifest.com/participate/expo/ by Jan. 11 to be considered for inclusion in printed materials.
