Several UNMC staff members have received an email titled “Storage Limit Exceeded” that asks them to click on a link to validate their email account by providing their id/password.
THIS IS A SCAM!
UNMC Information Technology Services will never ask for IDs/passwords in such a manner, and will only do so in the process of troubleshooting.
Never give your UNMC ID/passwords through such a link or over the phone.
Call the ITS Helpdesk at 402-559-7700 if you suspect your id/passwords or your workstation has been compromised.
