Dr. Wigton to present series on College of Medicine History

On Wednesday, Nov. 21, Robert Wigton, M.D., associate dean in the College of Medicine and professor of internal medicine, will start four-part series on the history of the college.

Dr. Wigton’s first talk in the series — titled “A New Beginning, 1881-1912” — starts at noon in the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater.

Free pizza will be served to the first 100 in attendance.

The schedule for the remaining seminars in the series is:

  • Jan. 16 — “Part 2: 1913-1946, the New Home on 42nd Street”
  • Feb. 20 — “Part 3: 1947-1980, the Birth of the Medical Center”
  • March 20 — “Part 4: 1981-2013, Modern Times”

Each session is on a Wednesday and starts at noon in the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater.
