Samuel Cohen, M.D., Ph.D., pathology and microbiology – to evaluate the carcinogenicity of a compound with potential use in neurodegenerative diseases.

Howard Gendelman, M.D., pharmacology and experimental neuroscience – to evaluate the formation of Lewy bodies in Parkinson’s disease.

Thomas Porter, M.D., internal medicine/cardiology – for an interventional clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy of a contrast media commonly used to detect coronary artery disease in echocardiograms when used in concert with a stress agent currently used in an alternate imaging system.
