If you’re a team captain for the UNMC Walks to the Olympics Challenge, send weekly updates about your team’s step total to today@unmc.edu by 5 p.m. today so we can see where teams stand in the race to London.
Also, please remember to note who your team’s top stepper was for the week to see if that person qualifies to wear the “Blue T-Shirt.”
Closing ceremony
The Olympic Walk challenge wraps up this week with a closing ceremony on Friday in the Ruth and Bill Scott Student Plaza.
The ceremony kicks off at 11:30 a.m. with a short procession from the campus art feature — Hope — to the plaza ice rink area, where medals will be given out to the teams and giant group picture will be taken of all the participants.
