What is your best memory from your time at UNMC?
My best memories are from our MMI picnics, when employees come together during their lunch breaks to meet other employees outside of their departments. I’m always surprised when I finally get to meet a person I helped over the phone or through email. It’s great when you can put names with faces that you don’t see on a regular basis.
Our four brand values are leadership, commitment to excellence, working together and being a trusted resource. Pick one and tell us a time you witnessed it embodied at UNMC.
The Patient Information Office (PIO) is definitely a department that is committed to excellence. It’s our top priority to make sure families get the services that they need for their children. We also make ourselves available to all employees and clinics here at MMI. Every third Monday, our awesome director, Joanne Johnson, holds meetings to make sure we are meeting the expectations for families, clinics and employees.
