| This stretch of 42nd Street will close Friday evening and reopen on Monday morning to facilitate work on Poynter Hall. |
A reminder that both lanes of 42nd Street from Dewey Avenue to Emile Street will close from 6 p.m. today until 6 a.m. Monday.
The closure will enable new water service and sewer lines to be hooked up to Poynter Hall.
The sidewalks on the west side of 42nd Street between Dewey and Emile streets will be closed north of Wittson Hall’s main entrance.
Wittson Hall can still be accessed from 42nd Street and traffic on Dewey Circle will not be blocked during this period.
