To highlight the eccentricities of his character, actor Robert Downey Jr. asked that extremely large pockets be sewn into his costume for the movie “Sherlock Holmes.”

What: UNMC and The Nebraska Medical Center employees are invited to join the Durham Museum’s Curator Carrie Wieners on a “behind-the-seams” tour of 44 screen-worn costumes on loan from COSPROP studios in London. In addition, guests will explore “Drawn to Fashion: the Illustrations of Mary Mitchell,” an exhibition formed from the never-before-seen collection of one of Omaha’s premiere fashion illustrators.
