Though it’s normally closed on Mondays, the ice skating rink at the University of Nebraska Medical Center will be open on Feb. 20 (President’s Day) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The skating rink, located between 42nd and 40th streets and Dewey and Emile streets, will be open through March 3. Cost for admission is $5, which includes skate rental. All skaters age 12 and under must be supervised at all times by their parent or guardian.
The rink's normal hours are:
- Tuesday-Friday — 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 4 p.m.-8 p.m.;
- Saturday – 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; and
- Sunday — 12 p.m.-8 p.m.
