The University of Nebraska in partnership with the State of Nebraska will change purchasing card banks from UMB Bank to US Bank the end of March.
If you have an existing PCard, you will not need to enter a new electronic application or take the online certification test. You will only be required to confirm your acceptance of the Cardholder Acknowledgement of Responsibilities in Blackboard.
Please note that new applications will be held and processed with US Bank. New cards will no longer be provided from UMB Bank.
Below is a tentative PCard transition schedule for UNMC:
- Feb. 15 — PCard Acknowledgement available on Blackboard, link to be provided via mass e-mail reminder;
- March 16 — Target completion of PCard Acknowledgement;
- March 19 — Begin US Bank PCard distribution to approved cardholders; and
- April 1 — UMB Bank PCard disabled and no further charges will be authorized.
