Here’s a slick idea to keep children outside and active should they be among those who get President’s Day off — take them to the UNMC Ice Rink.
Typically closed on Mondays, the rink will make an exception to provide some winter fun for those who are off on President’s Day, which is Monday, Feb. 20.
The rink will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 to 8 p.m. on President’s Day.
