Emile Bend complete, work continues near circle drive, eye institute

The “Emile Bend” is now open for traffic.

The new section of Emile Street from 41st Street to Jones Street — known as the “Emile Bend” — is now open and drivers again have full access to Parking Lots No. 15 and No. 21.

At times in the near future, construction could be conducted on 40th Street adjacent to the Truhlsen Eye Institute construction site.

The new circle drive on 40th Street south of Dewey Avenue and adjacent to the existing eye clinic will be under construction for approximately two more weeks to finish sidewalk work and lighting installation.
