What is your best memory from your time at UNMC?
One that stands out is opening day of the Olson Center after renovations. It was fun and exciting to have everyone come together and celebrate a great accomplishment and represent a great mission.
Our four brand values are leadership, commitment to excellence, working together and being a trusted resource. Pick one and tell us a time you witnessed it embodied at UNMC.
I have to honestly say I see all four on a daily basis. But to highlight one particularly, I’ll go with leadership. One of my supervisors, Lana Molczyk, not only provides great leadership to me and to my associates, but she is a cutting-edge leader in women’s health education and outreach in our community. She comes up with new things that are vital and important to women that no one else is doing and she does them impeccably.
List three things people may not know about you.
- I want to go back and get my master’s in family counseling or theology.
- I was “kidnapped” by a rug dealer in Morocco and he wouldn’t tell me how to get back to my hotel if I didn’t buy a rug. It’s red and ugly.
- I’m a huge fan of Elizabeth Bennet, Queen Elizabeth I and Elisabeth Elliot.
How wonderful to see Christin on the Lookin' at U segment this morning! I have worked with Christin on many projects. Her attention to details is second to none, and her positive attitude is infectious. Keep up the good work!
