Well last week was a rough one for the Husker Hombre (otherwise known as dentistry student Paul Favela) and the Huskers for that matter.

But they’re both back this week with hopes of better things against Ohio State.

Today the Hombre goes head-to-head with Jered Garrison, Ph.D., assistant professor of pharmaceutical sciences. Dr. Garrison grew up near Columbus, Ohio, and comes from a long line of Buckeye alumni.

So what do the Hombre and Dr. Garrison think will happen Saturday when Ohio State visits Memorial Stadium? Read on to find out.

Jered Garrison, Ph.D., and his two Buckeye buddies — son Nate and daughter Ellie — foresee an Ohio State win in Lincoln on Saturday.
The Hombre says, “The Huskers have to show they can bounce back this week as Ohio State and Brutus Buckeye take a stab at them in Memorial Stadium on Homecoming weekend. Taylor Martinez should put on a performance that will quiet the non ‘Bo-lievers’ — at least until next week. If the passing game falters, expect Rex Burkhead to put the team on his back and lead us to victory. Worst case scenario, we could always buy Big Ten championship rings. I hear this weekend would be the best time to get them.” NU 38, Ohio State 31

Dr. Garrison says, “I expect the first Big Ten match-up between Ohio State and Nebraska will be a defensive battle. Ohio State has struggled offensively this season but I expect them to turn it around this Saturday and hand Nebraska its first Big Ten home loss. Expect a low scoring game.” Ohio State 14, NU 10
