Today the City of Omaha starts a resurfacing project on Saddle Creek Road between Leavenworth and Dodge streets.
Lane closures will be necessary as the project progresses but those who park in lots west of Saddle Creek Road will still be able to cross the street to get to campus. (See map in sidebar.)
The project is estimated to last about a week pending delays caused by weather and other factors.
A similar project will start next Monday on Leavenworth Street between Saddle Creek Road and 45th Street.
Employees and students are urged to keep the projects in mind and plan accordingly as they travel to and from campus in the coming weeks.
