But until then, here are some tips to help you safely and efficiently traverse the campus:
- Plan extra time so you are not late and have to rush.
- Use the alternate routes (See map of construction).
- Watch for vehicles and equipment — they may not be able to see you!
- Be alert and look both ways when crossing streets near projects.
- Don’t walk under cranes or in close proximity to operating equipment.
- Do not jump over or go around barricades.
- Report hazards and concerns to the Facilities Help Desk at 402-559-4050 or Campus Safety at 402-559-7315.
