Salary notifications distributed online

In an effort to cut printing and distribution costs and to make information more accessible to employees, salary notifications will be distributed for the first time via Firefly.

Employees can now access their Annual Salary Notifications on the ESS site.

Just as you access paycheck stubs, bank information, W-2’s, etc., salary notifications will be accessible via a link in ESS starting today.
To access your salary notification in Firefly:

• Click the Employee Self Service tab; and
  
• In the Payment section, click the Annual Salary Notification link.

The salary notification will open in PDF format. You can save it to your computer and/or print.

This Annual Salary Notification link will remain in ESS until the following year, and only the current year’s notification will be accessible.

Adobe note If you’ve recently upgraded to Adobe Acrobat Reader 10.1, the toolbar showing the print and save icons do not appear. To view the toolbar, press F8 on your keyboard. Contact the campus help desk at 402-559-7700 if you have problems opening the PDF file. Please contact your supervisor if you have salary questions.

Not every employee at the university will receive a salary notification via Employee Self Service.

Employees who do not receive a notification will see the following message, “Annual salary notification not available. Please contact your supervisor.”
