In an effort to enhance information security and as a cost saving measure, Information Technology Services (ITS) will implement a new anti-virus application to replace McAfee.
The implementation should finish by June 30.
In addition, as part of “Save it Securely,” ITS and your workstation support staff will install encryption software on computer hard drives and flash drives.
These applications require little user interaction and should not adversely affect computer performance.
