What is your best memory from your time at UNMC?

The people I have had the pleasure of working with are my best memories.

Our four brand values are leadership, commitment to excellence, working together and being a trusted resource. Pick one and tell us a time you witnessed it embodied at UNMC.

Being a part of the Eppley Institute, I witness all of these qualities on a daily basis. However, I believe our best quality is our ability to work together. Everyone, from the investigators, post doctoral fellows and students to our outstanding administrative and technical staff, works together for a common goal.

List three things people may not know about you.

  • My great-great grandfather was one of the founders of the now closed Dana College in Blair. Also, his obituary states that he died of hiccups.
  • I played bassoon for nine years in high school and college.
  • I recently began competing in triathlons.
