Whether it be a proud participant with a picture created just for me, swimming with a friend who screams with glee in excitement, a bright smile or the loud greeting of “Hello!” from a participant yelling down the hall — these are the moments that make my job priceless.
Our four brand values are leadership, commitment to excellence, working together and being a trusted resource. Pick one and tell us a time you witnessed it embodied at UNMC.
Teamwork is a value that impacts me every single day. I could not do my job and provide the services we do without a supportive team. I am blessed to have the opportunity to work with an immensely talented team that supports me to be the best that I can be.
List three things people may not know about you.
- Fall is my favorite time of year because I love pumpkin everything — bread, muffins, cookies, coffee, etc.
- My mom taught me that sometimes a simple song can be a perfect diversion, so I am often caught singing or quoting a song throughout my day.
- I am the queen of to do lists and have a large bucket list of wishes, including wanting to hold a chimpanzee.
Erin is an awesome woman! I have met her and my daughter works with her at MMI Camps. You could not find a nicer person to work with and I am certain the kids benefit from her happy smile and cheerful personality!
I have worked with Erin for 8 years and she always has a smile on her face. I think it's part of her DNA to work with children with disabilities. She is a great asset to the Recreational Therapy Department at Munroe-Meyer Institute. And our first names rhyme!
Two of my children either work or volunteer at Camp Munroe and just love Erin and she is always a pleasure to communicate with. Other than she always calls me Mr. Kegley which makes me feel old
Erin sounds like such a blessing to those who have the privilege of knowing her. Sounds like she is definitely in the right place for a job. Keep up the great work! People with special needs are priceless!!!!
While all the MMI Rec. Therapy staff are excellent, Erin is a real bright spot. Always professional, always upbeat, we are fortunate to have her.
