This painting by Lyman W. Atwater, titled “Central Park, Winter: The Skating Pond,” is among those on display at the Joslyn Art Museum as part of its current “Seasons of Joy …” exhibit.
Thanks to lithographers Nathaniel Currier and James Merritt Ives, mid-19th-century America was documented more completely than any other time and place in history before the widespread use of photography.

UNMC employees are invited to join a curator from Joslyn Art Museum for a slide-illustrated discussion of the exhibition.

RSVP to Kacie Gerard at kgerard@unmc.edu by Nov. 9. At least 10 people need to sign up for the program to be held.

Employees are encouraged to bring lunch.
