  • Allied Health – 59 percent
  • Public Health – 58 percent
  • Academic Affairs – 52 percent

  • ITS – 38 percent
  • Eppley Institute – 25 percent
  • Medicine – 20 percent
  • Munroe-Meyer – 19 percent
  • Pharmacy – 15 percent

Also, as of Monday afternoon, about 27 percent of the campus had participated in the drive. The campus participation goal is 100 percent.

To help raise the participation stats, the unofficial inaugural UNMC United Way Participation Hour will run at 8 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

Those who haven’t participated in the drive yet will receive an e-mail from United Way on Wednesday morning reminding them to participate.

If you’re among this group, between 8 and 9 a.m., we’d like you to:

  • Open the e-mail, which contains your participation password; and
  • Choose a donation amount or select the “no donation” option — choosing not to donate COUNTS as participation.

If you participate, even if it means you click the “no donation option,” you:

  • Help increase your unit’s participation goal; and
  • Qualify to win prizes in Friday’s final weekly prize drawing.

Of course, you don’t have to wait until 8 a.m. to participate and if you can’t participate between 8 and 9 a.m., you can participate anytime between now and Friday at 5 p.m.
