Free portrait drawing classes for employees

Free portrait drawing classes for employee will be offered for employees on Tuesday nights starting on Oct. 19 and ending Nov. 23.

When: 6 to 8 p.m.

Reminder

All employees of UNMC and their immediate family receive free admission to Joslyn Art Museum by showing their employee IDs at the admission desk.

Where: Lied Rooms 1, 2 and 3

Who: Employees and students of The Nebraska Medical Center, UNMC and UNMC Physicians are invited to register for free basic drawing art classes. Classes are offered as part of the Passport Partners program between UNMC and Joslyn Art Museum.

What you’ll learn: Participants will discover methods of drawing the face realistically. The series will address fundamentals of proportion, form, and symmetry and rendering light and shadow.

Registration: Class size is limited and registration required. Contact Kacie Gerard at kgerard@unmc.edu to sign up.
