Quick, think of five things others should know about you.
That’s the theme behind a series in UNMC Today called “Lookin’ at U.”
Each Thursday, we will randomly select a medical center employee to feature.
This week, we feature Doris Dortch, lead teacher in the UNMC Child Development Center.
Doris Dortch |
- I was born in Arkansas and my family moved to Omaha when I was 3-years-old. I have seven sisters and two brothers.
- I teach sign language to 1- and 2-year-old children. Each child learns more than 100 signs.
- I love driving my Mustang convertible while listening to a variety of music, but country music is my favorite.
- I make video music collages for friends and family. I have three wonderful daughters, one granddaughter and two grandsons.
- I’m getting married for the first time at the age of 51!
Read UNMC Today next Thursday to see who is featured in the next Lookin’ at U article. Who knows — it could be U.
