The 12-member team — which is composed of eight nurses, two physicians, one pharmacist and one physician assistant — will work for the next seven to 10 days at the University of Miami/MediShare Hospital and other locations in Port-au-Prince.

Dr. Young and Hall have been in Haiti for about three weeks are set to return to the United States today, which marks the one-month anniversary of the magnitude 7.0 earthquake that killed about 230,000 people and wounded countless others.
The Haitian government has declared today a national day of mourning in recognition of the one-month anniversary.
The new volunteers will continue the work of Dr. Young, Hall and the UNMC volunteers who have helped those wounded by the massive earthquake.
