Quick, think of five things others should know about you.
That’s the theme behind a series in UNMC Today called “Lookin’ at U.”
Each Thursday, we will randomly select a medical center employee or student to feature.
This week, we feature Jill Fliege, program coordinator of the UNMC Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program and a nurse practitioner in the pulmonary, critical care, sleep and allergy section.
Here, in her own words, are five fun facts about Jill.
Jill Fliege |
- I have been a nurse practitioner and coordinator of the UNMC Adult Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Program for the past 7 1/2 years. I am fortunate to work with an awesome group of people in both the pediatric and adult CF programs.
- I have been married to my husband Jon, my high school sweetheart for 14 years. We started dating when we were 16 years old and stayed together all these years. We hope to go on a trip to New York City for our 15th wedding anniversary next summer.
- I just returned from maternity leave three weeks ago after giving birth to our third child, Amelia Reese, who was born two months early and weighed only 3 pounds 13 ounces. I am happy to say she is doing well and is tipping the scales at over 11 pounds now.
- I have two other little girls, Nora Grace, 6, and Adeline Elizabeth, 2. My poor husband is surrounded by girls.
- Since I have every one’s attention with this article, I am going to seize this opportunity for free advertising to tell people we are wanting to sell our 1930s updated tudor style home near the med center. We have outgrown it. Contact me at 650-0327 if interested!
