The following is a note from UNMC Information Technology Services about the Apple iPhone.
Apple’s iPhone has generated a lot of interest and hype in the consumer wireless phone industry.
However, the iPhone does not provide “real time” wireless synchronization for UNMC’s Lotus Notes or TNMC’s MS Exchange e-mail and calendaring systems. Another consideration is that UNMC ITS cannot “lock” or “wipe” the device remotely if it is lost or stolen.
