The workshop is sponsored by the Lymphoma Research Foundation and supported by a grant/cooperative agreement from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The title of the seminar is “Lymphoma Workshop: Understanding Lymphoma Basics and Current Treatment Options.” Breakfast and lunch are provided for those attending in Omaha.
Highlights of the program include information about lymphoma, disease and treatment information, clinical trials and new research, networking opportunities, survivorship issues and psychosocial support. Presenters include UNMC lymphoma physicians Julie Vose, M.D., Phil Bierman, M.D., Deb Darrington, M.D., and Kathy Byar, a nurse on the lymphoma team. Also joining them will be Stephanie Gregory, M.D., of Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
“We’re pleased to offer the workshop in Omaha, as well as make it available via the Internet so people from across Nebraska can access it,” said Dr. Vose, Neumann M. and Mildred E. Harris Professor and chief of the UNMC Section of Hematology/Oncology.

Free parking is available at 42nd and Dewey Streets, in the Clarkson Hospital parking surface lot, in the garage, or in the UNMC College of Nursing lot. Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater is located on the southwest corner of 42nd and Dewey. Access Eppley on the south side of the building.
