All UNMC faculty, staff, students and volunteers are invited to chancellor’s forums on Tuesday, March 11. The one-hour forums will begin at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. in the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater. The morning forum will be broadcast to UNMC campus sites in Lincoln, Kearney and Scottsbluff. At the Omaha campus, the Grissom Conference Room will serve as an overflow room for the afternoon forum.
The morning forum will be broadcast to Room 201 at the College of Nursing, West Nebraska Division; to Room 148 of the West Center building in Kearney; and to Room 4 of the College of Dentistry in Lincoln.
During the forums, Chancellor Harold M. Maurer, M.D., will discuss the first phase of the UNMC budget reductions and present a budget reduction model that highlights the extent of the cuts UNMC most likely will have to confront.
A sign language interpreter will be available at both forums.
